At some point in your life you will eventually begin to question yourself. You start asking yourself what is the purpose of my life? What is life's true meaning? What have I done to serve this world, this universe, and all that is around me? This is a sure sign of maturity, a sign of age and progress. For some, this can cause intense feelings of worry and anxiousness. You may develop symptoms of depression and anxiety such as: no energy, fatigue, lack of motivation, always feeling tired and unable to fully enjoy life the way you used to. You are unable to tolerate stress. You are overly impatient and oversensitive. You don't know where you're going. You want to know if you've done the right things for yourself in life. You start to wonder if there was a reason for everything you've done so far that has lead you to this very moment. You question your very existence. All these thoughts and feelings evoke such a deep sense of fear, hopelessness, and despair. How will you ever get past all this? That feeling of impending doom haunts you every moment. Like the world is coming to an end, you feel detached from your body, as if you were watching a movie of yourself. As daunting as it appears to be, this is the journey towards the greatest moment of your life, the journey towards self-actualization. Epiphany will set in as you realize that this is where your life truly begins.
[Self actualization is the state of consciousness in which are you able to realize your true potential on this earth, your meaning and purpose in this life. You know very well what you are capable of and you will continually strive to achieve and become one with your true self. It is the journey to find the real you, the stronger, wiser, more knowledgeable, successful you. Your morality, creativity, spontaneity, lack of prejudice, acceptance of facts and ability to solve problems are at its greatest. ]
There is hope. While you may feel stuck in an ocean of gloom, you will realize that it is imperative that you overcome your fears. Only then will you truly become an unstoppable force. It takes courage, and lots of it, not to succumb to the fears you carry with you. Fear is what is holding you back. You will never achieve your goal if you let fear control you. Take baby steps, but don't give up. Never give up. Keep persevering. Every time you feel like giving up, think about how happy it will be when you overcome your greatest hurdle that life has given you. Keep fighting. Believe that you will get through this. The truth is, you DEFINITELY will. And when you finally do, paradise awaits.
